Pure Carbon Publishing, the valley’s newest trade publisher with national and international distribution will launch with two book titles this January.
Pure Carbon Publishing’s brand focus is to provide “Fundamental Knowledge for Innovative People™”offering both traditional and hybrid publishing models to expert authors writing in the genres of business, psychology, health and wellness, and personal growth.
Pure Carbon Publisher’s upcoming titles include “The Physics & Poetry of Eastern Herbal Medicine” by Dr. Judyth Shamosh and “The One Inside: 30 Days to Your Authentic Self,” by Tammy Sollenberger, M.A., and an updated, expanded print edition of Kelly Lydick’s “Dream Incubation for Greater Self-Awareness: A Handbook.”
Judyth Shamosh, Ph.D., the founder of Greenfingers Herbal Medicine clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, is a systems herbalist who practices Ayurvedic and classical Chinese medicine alongside western herbal medicine. She has been a frequent lecturer at Phoenix Institute for Herbal Medicine & Acupuncture, served as governing council at the American Herbalist’s Guild, and as Vice Chairperson of the board at RainStar University College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, among others. Her title “The Poetry and Physics of Eastern Herbal Medicine” is a groundbreaking work that bridges the gap between Eastern medicine principles and Western thinking and science.
Tammy Sollenberger, M.A., a licensed mental health counselor based in New Hampshire, believes that every person can experience a more harmonious and connected existence—no matter what past or present experiences have come before—when we each bring curiosity to all those noisy voices inside. Using a succinct, easy-to-approach style, Tammy Sollenberger’s “The One Inside” guides readers through a 30-day journey following the clinically proven Internal Family Systems method of achieving internal harmony.
Signed copies of these titles will be available in late January via publisher and author websites, followed by wholesale and retail availability beginning in February 2022.
A reception to welcome the authors will take place on January 29, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. at the Virginia G. Piper Center for Creative Writing at the main ASU campus in Tempe, Arizona.
Pure Carbon Publishing will open submissions to agented and unagented authors in January 2022.
